    WOQOD as a company is built on a solid financial foundation through its shareholders.

    WOQOD is a public share company and is listed in the Doha Security Exchange. Our major shareholder is Qatar Petroleum, who provide guidance and business support as required, to help us establish our new businesses. Our wide base of Qatari shareholders provides us with a very solid finance base to build from and also the opportunity to spread our financial achievements to many Qatari families.

    New products are introduced, modern convenience stores for all customer daily requirements including in store bakery, internet café, postal services, dry cleaning and entertainment. Services include brush free car washes with water recycling systems, followed by detailed car valet. Radio frequency technology is employed for fueling vehicles and so minimizing the opportunity for fraud. Bulk LPG is now available for large villas and in the near future for apartment buildings, connected by GSM to ensure supplies never run out.

    We are implementing a culture of accountability for everything that we do. Environment accountability is a key competency. We recognize our responsibility to minimize our impact on the environment and have designed into our new service stations facilities that include:

    • Leak detection systems to identify if a leak from a storage facility occurs
    • Water recycling for car wash
    • Vapor recovery of petroleum fumes
    • Used oil disposal
