WOQOD aspires to achieve a high quality delivery of all its business activities to all customers and external and internal stakeholders.

WOQOD Quality Management System Milestones:

  • 21th June 2009: ISO Certification was upgraded from version 2000 to 2008; one of the very first in the GCC region
  • 11th December 2008: ISO 9001:2000 Certification of Qatar Fuel “WOQOD” and its affiliated company, QJET (http://www.qjetfuel.com)

WOQOD and QJet established their own QMS to ensure that the marketing and distribution of all petroleum products and related services in the State of Qatar continued its long-standing commitment to customer satisfaction. WOQOD has embraced a management system beyond the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 standards through the use of powerful tools such as Balanced Scorecard in setting objectives, targets and programs, 8D Method for corrective and preventive procedures, best practices in bunkering (WQMBS) and other best practices to name a few which are consistent with the organizations’ Vision to be the leader in the Region. The achievement of the ISO certification illustrates that ISO standards and best practices are part of the process of achieving this vision.

We, Qatar Fuel (WOQOD), are engaged in marketing, distribution and storage of fuel and related products within Qatar. The company plans to diversify its products and services and to expand its operations in the GCC and other countries.

In fulfilling our corporate vision and to earn the trust and confidence of our shareholders, we commit to provide consistently quality products and superior services through the use of best management concepts and state-of-the-art technologies.

We shall integrate highest professionalism through our WOQOD Brand Values and Quality considerations in every aspect of our operations by implementing and maintaining an internationally recognized Quality Management System (QMS).

To continually improve the quality of our products and services and the effectiveness of our management system, we shall:

  • Seek to know, understand and always meet the requirements of our stakeholders through effective feedback mechanisms
  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations and the requirements of the industry to which we belong
  • Establish strategic objectives and targets aimed at continually improving the efficiency of our operations and in meeting the stated and implied needs of our customers
  • Empower our employees in resolving problems and in maintaining customer focus and competence by providing them appropriate training and support
  • Promote quality awareness in all functions and levels within the company and among our stakeholders
  • Review regularly our Quality Management System to ensure its continuing suitability
