A Senior Bahraini Delegation Visited WOQOD

A group of senior delegates from BAPCO in the Kingdom of Bahrain has visited Qatar Fuel (WOQOD) on Monday, January 22, 2007. The main purpose of the visit was focused on assessing WOQOD’s experience in marketing and distributing petroleum products in Qatar, and exploring how the Bahraini companies can benefit from such experience in establishing a similar marketing and distribution business for petroleum products in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
After briefing The Delegates about WOQOD’s history, its mission, vision and the main activities which the company are providing for the Qatari market, WOQOD answered all questions and explained different issues raised by The Delegates related to this business. WOQOD expressed to The Guest Delegates its readiness and willingness to provide every possible assistance and technical support required by the Bahraini companies.
The Group also visited WOQOD’s Doha Depot where The Delegates learned about fuel storage and distribution processes. They were then led to visit WOQOD’s 1st Petrol Station located at Messaimer West, where they admired the state-of-the-art and highly sophisticated services such as Carwash, Workshop, Tyre Change, Convenience Store, Internet Café, Laundry, Post Office, ATM and Mosque.
