Probation Period

You will be subject to a probation period of (3) months for Senior Staff and (6) months for Intermediate Staff, starting from the date that you report to work. During this time, if you prove to be unfit to carry out the duties of your position, your services will be terminated.

After this probation period, if you are assessed as suitable for your appointed position, you will be considered as confirmed in the position recruited for and the probation period will be calculated as part of your total period of service.

Sponsorship

To work in Qatar you will require a Residence Permit. WOQOD will provide this and will be your sponsor during your stay in Qatar. WOQOD will take all necessary steps to issue all relevant permits, including your health card.

On arrival in Qatar you will be taken to attend a small medical examination and thereafter for fingerprinting. These two activities are required in order for your residence permit to be issued. A WOQOD representative will accompany you for these activities.
