Bitumen

WOQOD entered the Bitumen business in 2004 and today had three import vessels bringing Bitumen to Qatar. In the forth quarter of 2006 WOQOD will commission an on shore storage and distribution centre for Bitumen including the manufacturing and marketing of modified Bitumen, Tack Coats and Emulsions.

Qatar will require 750,000 tonnes of Bitumen over the next five years as strong government investment will upgrade existing roads in Qatar and create new ones, including highways such as the outer ring road.

WOQOD has invested in the infrastructure to ensure Qatar's Bitumen needs are always met.
